Take a Yin Yoga journey through the Chakras.
Using the longer, mindful poses of Yin Yoga, we will travel the roadmap of the subtle energy body which closely relates to the endocrine system and the hormones.
If you’re new to Yin Yoga, this extended practice will allow us to explore a multitude of floor-based poses, all of which are held for a few minutes enabling us to stretch gently & deeply into the body’s connective tissues. Props such as bolsters and blankets provide support and promote the calming parasympathetic nervous system - essentially each pose becomes a mini meditation of its own with time to breathe and reflect.
A Yoga Nidra (non-sleep rest) will round off a morning which will leave you feeling balanced and light.
Restorative & Reiki
Restorative Yoga & Reiki Workshop

A Restorative practice centres on supporting the body in poses using plenty of props to allow the body to rest fully. From here, we can allow minds to process thoughts & emotions and simply ‘be’ with ourselves.
I’m excited to collaborate with Jo from Yutori Reiki who will offer Reiki healing energy to you whilst you dwell in your restorative practice. This can be hands on or hands off depending on your personal preference. Learn more about Jo here.

Attending to the Nervous System through Svadhyaya ‘Self-reflection’.
What can i expect at a Workshop?
An extended practice of 2 or 3 hours allows us to immerse ourselves in more movement, more poses and weave our Yoga asana into an exploration into Yogic philosophy. This may encompass the elements, the energetic body, chakras, meridians, pranayama breathwork and a touch of poetry and storytelling.
